The Cure for Procrastination in 3-Simple Steps

Your boss just might pay for this

Dear Boss: I write to request your support in a leadership-professional development course entitled Your Path in Focus. As cited in the literature below from JAMA randomized clinical trials, coaching has been shown to decrease emotional exhaustion (EE) by 19.5% (non-coached persons had a rise in EE by 9.8%, P=<.001), decrease in burnout by 17.1% (non-coached persons had a rise in burnout of 4.9%, P=<.001), a higher quality of life (P =.005) and improved resilience (P = .04). Similar results have been demonstrated in trainees. Moreover, coaching has been demonstrated to save organizations money through employee retention, engagement, increased productivity, efficiency, communication skills, goal accomplishment, wellbeing, leadership, and outcomes. Cleveland Clinic reported saving $133Million in 2020 alone through onboarding coaching to retain their faculty and help them become more engaged and fullfilled. A JAMA study also showed that coaching has a positive return of investment of 12.5%: a $1Million investment in coaching results in a savings of $1.125Millions/year. To help support my growth and bring more of these valuable skills to our center, I would be most appreciative of your support of this coaching program which includes LIFETIME coaching for a one-time payment of $2,000.
